military mix

Military Jacket & Fuchsia DressAnother barelegged look coming your way!  The forecast for the next week is grim, but I just can’t, for the life of me, cover up any longer.  On Sunday, I threw on a utility jacket over my favorite dress sans tights for brunch and it was glorious.  I have a feeling that when spring finally decides to stick around, I’ll be getting plenty of wear mixing my military jacket with everything spring.

grey area

Neutral Work OutfitIt’s a grey area, this limbo between winter and spring.  It’s late February, which means I’m already planning my spring outfits and thinking about prints and pastels.  But the weather begs to differ.  Temps reached a glorious 50°F this weekend and then overnight, we dipped back down by 20 degrees.  As if Mondays didn’t suck enough already.
Leopard Cutch

And so while the polar vortex is making an untimely return this week, you better believe I was barelegged all weekend in skirts, including this bright red beauty.  But if you’re not ready to go bold, I recommend transitioning into slightly warmer temps (even if only for a fleeting weekend) with a spring time pieces in a neutral palette and a pop of leopard.
