Bonjour 2015!

Hello 2015! Even though we’re already five days into it, today feels like the official start of the new year. Maybe it’s because I spent all of New Year’s Day hungover in bed. Or maybe it’s because I’m finally back to work and blogging after a long weekend. Yeah, let’s pretend it’s that.

To kick off the New Year, I’ll be sharing some of my outfits from my trip to Europe over Christmas break. I sported this blanket scarf and this faux fur hooded coat on our visit to the Louvre in Paris. The fiancé navigated our way through the selfie-obsessed crowds in front of the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo and wandered through as many halls as we could. We could’ve spent all day there and still not have seen everything so now I’m counting the days until we get to go back!

Favorite Outfits of 2014

Polka Dot Pencil Skirt

Happy Monday friends! I’m finally back from Europe and after catching 10 hours of zzz’s last night, I think I’m ready to be a functional human being again. I can’t believe the new year is only a few days away. To celebrate, I rounded up a few of my favorite outfits from 2014. Enjoy!

Bear Down x 100

What can I say? I may live in NYC now, but I’ll always bleed red and blue and I’ll always be a sucker for a dropwaist dress. Back in November, James and I went down to Tucson just a few days before we got engaged and shot this outfit in front of my favorite spot on campus.

Radiant Orchid

I know I’ve toned it down a lot when it comes to color lately, but this radiant orchid dress is still one of my favorite outfits from New York Fashion Week last September. And when your heels match the bike rack? That’s just icing on the cake.

A Sneaking Suspicion

Another NYFW favorite. After a day of meetings and showroom visits in high heels, I slipped into sneakers, an embellished t-shirt and tweed shorts and never felt better!

Neon Nouveau

Because nothing says over the top than a bright neon skirt (bonus points because it’s on sale!).

Hello Sunshine

Ugh, someone take me back to St. Martin, please. This outfit is the epitome of summer. I’m so ready to bust out a bright yellow dress and floppy straw hat again.

Monday Mantra

After a summer full of bright colors and bold patterns, it felt like a breath of fresh air to slip into something a little more minimal. Toward the end of the season, a black cami and simple, soft skirt became my go-to formula.

Floral Forever

Here’s another flashback to my tropical vacation in May. What I’d give to start wearing rompers right about now — then I’d definitely be adding this neon number and this floral print to my resort-wear arsenal.

Leopard & Stripes

Because you know I will always be a sucker for leopard print anything. I bought my faux fur coat a few winters ago, but there are so many affordable options these days. I’m especially in love with the prints on this one and this one. Get one and I promise you won’t regret it!

Merry Christmas Eve! Whether you’re spending the week with your family and friends or out on a grand adventure (or in my case both!), I hope it’s full of holiday cheer. I love wearing this kelly green midi skirt for festive occasions or just because.
