Rabbit rabbit!  Can you believe it’s APRIL already?  It feels like Spring is barely about to bloom here in New York, but Easter is only a few days away and colorful dresses!  I rounded up some of my favorite frocks for the weekend with a little something for everyone.

Personally, I’m gravitating toward bright hues like citron or mint.  When it comes to solid styles. it’s all about the details like the scalloped edges on this dress.  If you want to embrace spring to the fullest, florals never fail.  I love the sweetness of this flared fit, but this t-shirt dress is at the top of my list.

If full-on florals is a bit too much for you, the maxi (in an abstract print or a rich solid shade) perfect for a more effortless look.  There’s nothing I love more than a easy, breezy dress to match a go-with-the-flow vibe.  Which one is your favorite look?  Let me know in the comments sections and shop more spring dresses below!

Two Ways to Wear: Floral Print

Cozy Sweater // Floral Skirt // Eyeglasses // Tote Bag // Ankle Strap Heels

Spring is in the air — sort of.  Despite the fact that there’s still piles of dirty snow sitting on the sidewalks, the days are feeling longer and full of more sunshine.  I call that a win.  Soon enough, the streets will be lined with blossoms and spring wardrobes will be in full bloom.  It’s hands down my favorite time of the year.

To celebrate first hint of spring in NYC, I’m sharing two ways to start incorporating floral prints into your wardrobe.  It’s all about mixing textures and shapes — like this flared skirt with a chunky knit or a flowy blouse with leather leggings — so that you’re ready for the new season, but prepared in case Mother Nature decides to change her mind.

Pastel Palette

White Dress & Pastel Accessories

Hey friends — I hope you had a wonderful weekend! My parents were in NYC for weekend adventures #2.  This time around, I took them to my office to see where I work (guaranteed recipe for embarrassment!), then we wandered and ate everywhere from midtown to downtown.  We also catched our very first Manhattanhenge — one of four days out of the year where the sunset aligns perfectly with the city street grids.  I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend.

Baby Blue Scarf & Yellow Perforated Bag

So when it came to weekend wear, a whispery white dress was the name of game.  Just like the LBD, the little white dress is the perfect blank canvas for any outfit.  You can let it stand on its own or throw on few colorful accessories.  I obviously opted for the latter with a pastel palette.  I’m all about this powder blue scarf (um hello … pom poms!) and a yellow perforated bag for the perfect pops of pastel.
