Go With the Flow

I can’t remember the last time I got to wear a flowy dress, but you better believe I got my fair share of them while I was back in Arizona. In warmer weather, I live in airy dresses like this. They’re just so comfortable and easy — and I’m not gonna lie, when James and I stuffed our faces during our menu and cake tasting for our wedding, this cami dress came in handy … for obvious reasons.

Cut It Out

New York may be no where near cutout weather, but back in Arizona, it was all fair game. I had all intentions of wearing this gorgeous dress out for a Valentine’s Day date night with the fiancé during our trip. The plan was to have an easy night out at one of our favorite pizza places in Tucson since we were menu and cake tasting earlier that afternoon. We settled into our hotel and decided to take a quick cat nap before heading to dinner … and then we slept right through it. #foodcoma

Since we take a pretty casual approach to V-Day, I’m not too upset about sleeping through date night (oh god, we’re old), but I’m bummed that I won’t get another chance to wear this dress back in NYC for a while. I’m obsessed with this geometric print, which also comes in a matching top and shorts.

Colorblock Dropwaist Dress

After spending the past week and a half in Phoenix, Tucson and Austin, it was a tough sell trying to get me on the airplane back to NYC. For starters, the weather was gorgeous enough to break out my new colorblock dress and strappy heels. And then we got to partake in all of the fun parts of wedding planning, like menu tasting and cake tasting — sooo many cakes. Not a bad way to escape the subzero windchill, am I right? I’m already planning my next trip back for a bridal shower in March, but until then … I’ll have to live vicariously through these warm weather photos.
