Tweed is a tricky fabric that can sometimes end up looking more granny than chic, but J.Crew is my go-to purveyor of tweed with a twist. Bright colors and hints of metallic make this mini youthful, while staying true to the texture’s warmth and sophistication. What’re your thoughts on tweed?

snow flurries.

As much as I loved showing off my cold weather outfits this week, I’m beyond ready to trade in my snow boots for sandals. That won’t be happening for another few months, but a girl can dream, right?? For now, it’s faux fur and sweater dresses (seems like a familiar combo!) and possibly another snow-filled weekend in NYC. Hope you have a fantastic weekend friends!

january 2013: recap.

one / two / three

It’s hard to believe that we’re already one month into the new year. It feels like yesterday that I was home for the holidays and making resolutions which I probably won’t keep. Instead, I’ve been on the grind in NYC — recently joined by the BF — and ready to tackle new opportunities and challenges. And if January is any indication of how the rest of 2013 will pan out, it’s going to be a stylish, adventure-filled year.
