I took a cue from the Obama girls and added a pop of purple to today’s outfit.  The contrast between the black and white graphic print shirt and the bright violet blazer makes for a sharp, clean look.  It reminds me of a variation I wore this past summer.  And while temps in NYC are crazy cold this week, I’m inspired more than ever to keep my outfits bright and cheery all winter long.

I can’t even count how many times I’ve worn this faux fur vest this season, but it has easily become the item that I turn to in my winter wardrobe time and time again.  This time around, I’m pairing it up with neutral pieces and polka dot pumps for a warm, casual, and elevated look.
