Fall Fling

One of my favorite dresses is back for fall. I originally fell in love with this teal maxi dress from LOFT earlier this summer and I plan on wearing it until it’s too cold to be rockin’ the side slit. The best part is that transitioning a maxi from summer to fall doesn’t require that much effort. All you need is a denim jacket and a leopard clutch and you’ll have that dress doing double duty in no time. Gone to Great Lengths

I don’t think I’ve ever had much luck with maxi dresses. Since I’m only 5’2″, there’s usually a few inches of fabric puddling at my feet. Lately though, I’ve been browsing petite sections of my favorite brands and finding the perfect maxis left and right. It all started with this flowy floral number, followed by the same cut in teal and now that I know where to find the right size for me, I don’t think I’ll be stopping anytime soon.

Red Hot

We might be into the first few days of fall, but today’s outfit is red hot. I don’t wear this color enough in my life, so when I sported this fun little frock a few weeks ago, it definitely turned some heads. Note to self: buy more red.
