park hopping with lulu*s.

It’s the last installation of my Summer in the City series with Lulu*s. So far, I’ve taken you to two of my favorite ‘hoods: East Village and Gramercy. Today, we’re heading uptown (just a smidge) to Bryant Park. It’s tied with Washington Square Park as my favorite places to kick back and do some major people watching.

Bryant Park was also the home to NYFW for over fifteen years. And although the tents have moved further uptown, I still can’t help but feel the need to look my best every time I stroll through the area. Bright colors and a bold statement necklace capture the boisterous spirit of the park in the summer.

Thank you for following me on this little journey throughout the city with Lulu*s! I fall more in love with NYC everyday and can only hope you’ve enjoyed a little slice of my heaven!

It’s round two of my Summer in the City with Lulu*s series and this time, I’m taking you into my neck of the woods: Gramercy. It’s a gorgeously historic area, complete with a beautiful residential buildings and a private park that requires a key for entry. And even though I am not a keyholder, I still love taking a casual stroll through the area on my way to brunch — soaking up the quiet little ‘hood and plotting a way to gain access into the exclusive park.

a night out with lulu*s.

With my first summer in New York City in full swing (oh hey heat wave), I’m thrilled to be partnering up with Lulus.com on a series of upcoming posts called Summer in the City. I’ll be taking you along on a few of my NYC adventures with, of course, outfits for each occasion.

I’m kicking off the series with a night out in the East Village, one of my go-to neighborhoods for food, dessert and pickleback shots. I started off last weekend catching up with a BFF over burgers, followed by a little late night debauchery at the bars. I knew this Lulu*s romper would set the perfect backdrop for a mix of edgy and glam accents, but the icing on the cake had to be the lacy surprise peeking out of the back.
