With a blog name like mine, I think it’s safe to say that I like skirts. My closet is bursting at the seams with them — seriously though, I can’t close the doors to my closet anymore! So even though I clearly have my fair share of fit and flare, I couldn’t help but pick this blue flouncy number from Ann Taylor while I was out shopping on Black Friday. Did I mention the skirt is on MAJOR sale today?
Not sure if you can tell in the photos, but the skirt has a gorgeous texture to it. I love it paired with a knit sweater and a faux fur infinity scarf for a look that’s warm, cozy and put together. Tights optional, if you’re willing to brave the cold like me! Be sure to check out the flash sale going on at Ann Taylor today — take an extra 70% off all sale items! Stock up before it ends tonight and don’t forget to enter my giveaway to win this jacket!

When you find an outfit you love, I say wear it every possible which way. For me, that’s a cozy sweater (40% off this weekend!) and leggings (the pair I’m wearing is also on sale!). You can count on it being my winter uniform this season. Spice it up with a felt fedora and a pair of booties, and no one will notice it that I’m wearing the same thing over and over, right? Happy Friday friends! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

One of my favorite things about living in NYC is that the entire city is basically an outdoor art gallery. From the constantly rotating mural on Bowery to the month-long stint by the famous artist Banksy … you can get a feel for the creative energy running through the city just by walking down the street. So today, I’ve partnered with Perrier to celebrate my city’s street art and show off a little bit of my own street style.
The only thing is … I was visiting friends and family back in Arizona during the time of my shoot and I ended up finding my favorite piece of outdoor work in my second favorite city: Phoenix. I know, it’s not the first place that comes to mind when you think of street art, but as it turns out, it’s a huge hub for local artists. Roosevelt Row in downtown Phoenix is home to dozens of murals and one larger-than-life structure. Crazy curves, colorful shades … you know it was love at first sight.
And while I prefer my street art as bold and bright as can be, I’ve actually been gravitating in a completely different direction when it comes to my style. I’m talking a little bit of faux leather, a dash of leopard and whole lot of black. I guess you could say I brought a little bit of New York street style back home to Arizona. It’s like having the best of both worlds and that’s something I can cheers to!
