This past weekend, James, Tracy and I went on a cruise to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation and wearing this hot pink skirt for the occasion was a no brainer. I kept things simple the first time I wore this skirt, but this time around, I channeled a bit of the Pink Ladies from Grease. Part tough, part girly, and all for a good cause.

Last Sunday, I had the joy of attending the RewardStyle party at the Empire Hotel. Prior to the rooftop party, a few of my lovely blogger friends and I pre-gamed gathered at Krista’s rooftop for outfit photos.
For the party, I scooped up a new dress from Forever 21. I’m obsessed with the texture of this dress and I love that the black and neon combo is the perfect balance of brights for fall. But of course, it wouldn’t be #NYFW if I didn’t turn it up a few notches, so I paired geo print on geo print. The result: a mix of sharp shapes, punctuated with bold accessories throughout — a formula that will never get old!

With my first summer in New York City in full swing (oh hey heat wave), I’m thrilled to be partnering up with Lulus.com on a series of upcoming posts called Summer in the City. I’ll be taking you along on a few of my NYC adventures with, of course, outfits for each occasion.
I’m kicking off the series with a night out in the East Village, one of my go-to neighborhoods for food, dessert and pickleback shots.
