It’s officially romper season! Well, sort of. Over the past week, the temperature has fluctuated from 60 to 30°F and back. Earlier this week, I had to break out my winter coat again, but over the weekend it warmed up enough to break out this pink floral romper. I recently added another dropwaist dress to the wardrobe. Are you surprised? Probably not. I’ve been kind of on a kick lately (last seen here and here). Today though, it’s all about this filigree print (which also comes in skirt form!). It makes enough of a statement, that it doesn’t need to be paired with much else … simple jewelry, ankle strap heels and the cutest clutch for a pop of color.

My motto is usually the brighter, the better, but I’ve also been known to tone it down from time to time. Lately, I’ve been gravitating toward soft, romantic combinations like a plain white cami with a pale pink skirt. There’s something satisfying in the simple. And after spending a weekend in New Orleans for my bachelorette party, I think I need a break from all things flashy, neon and alchoholic for a while.
