Staying true to my commitment to celebrating Valentine’s Day in style, I plucked one of the prettiest pink pieces from my closet this past weekend. But this was date night downtown, not brunch on the Upper East Side so I pair the feminine frill with all black accessories — a comfy marble knit sweater, my favorite faux leather pants and a little black bag.
On Friday, I treated me and the boyfriend to dinner at Tipsy Parson — a cute little restaurant in Chelsea that served southern comfort food and plenty of neighborhood charm. On Saturday, James cooked up a delicious homemade meal, complete with wine and dessert. I think this might be our new Valentine’s Day tradition!

college colors.

I’m heading back to Arizona today for Homecoming Weekend! To celebrate, I’m rocking my college colors today: red, navy and leopard (Arizona Wildcats — get it?). I’m so excited to reunite with my best friends, cheer on my team and eat tons of Mexican food so cheers and bear down!
