Getting through my second winter in NYC has been no easy feat, but it’s been quite the lesson in layering. I’m talking chunky knits over button ups over a thermal layer — and I still feel the chill in my bones. I’m so over this polar vortex and I hope you’re all staying warm!

color crush: powder blue.

I’m usually a bright and bold kind of gal, but there’s something strangely alluring about my latest color crush. Powder blue — I mean, even the name is serene. I love the cool color as an entire ensemble or just a pop of pastel. And that Prada bag? Powdery perfection.

radiant leopard.

These days, you can usually find NYC sidewalks filled with piles of dirty snow and crowds of giant puffer coats. And then there’s me: the nut job in a pair of brightly colored pants (hello radiant orchid!) and a loud leopard top. It’s a head-turning combo for sure, but I can’t help feel a little better about this whole polar vortex situation when my outfit gives me hope of warmer days to come.
