H&M Palm Print Dress

It’s only Wednesday, but I’m already in vacation mode in my head.  Later today, the boyfriend, the pup and I all head down to North Carolina for a weekend on the lake for the Fourth of July!  In the meantime, I’m adding a touch of tropics to my wardrobe with this midi-length palm print dress and counting down the hours!

Simple Stripes

Blue and White Striped Summer Dress

Summer is in full swing and all I want to do is play!  My plans includes picnicking at the park, biking around the city, and checking off more items off my 27×27 list.  With a whole slew of adventures planned for the season, I’m gravitating towards comfortable, effortless outfits — one stop shops like this textured stripe dress and a nautical-inspired necklace (which is 50% off through Friday!).  Keep it simple and let the good times roll!

As an Arizona girl born and raised, jackets are the last thing that comes to mind during the summer, but it’s a whole ‘nother thing living on the east coast.  The days are hot, but the nights get chilly and offices are usually freezing. And if you’re as unlucky as NYC was last week, summer rainstorms roll in on the regular.  So lightweight jackets are now officially staple in my wardrobe.  From anorak to denim to bombers — I don’t discriminate!  Check out some of my favorite summer outwear and let me know which are your fave!
