Down By The River

Navy Blue DressOn my last day in San Antonio, Emily and I went on a morning stroll to grab coffee.  We made our way down to the river walk, which was probably my favorite thing about the city.  It definitely puts the Hudson River to shame.

The serene scene called for a simple look: a sleeveless navy dress and delicate jewelry (I gifted and then subsequently stole this delicate chain necklace to and from Em).  No muss, no fuss and just the peaceful little river running its course.

Bright Blue

Bright Blue Lattice Dress

Happy Monday y’all!  I’m feeling extra cheery after an amazing trip down to Texas to visit one of my best friends from law school.  We explored, we ate, we shopped and we danced our way through San Antonio and Austin – but more on our adventures later this week.

Bright Summer Dress

Bold and bright was the name of the game this past weekend.  And since the Texan approach is to go big or go home, I pulled out my most intense hues: electric blue, neon yellow and a touch of turquoise.  It’s a color combo that’s guaranteed to jumpstart your week.

Citrus Print Spring Trend

After surviving the most prolonged, brutal and bone-chilling winter in history (I tend to exaggerate when I whine), I think it’s safe to say we’re ready for brighter times ahead.  Even though it still doesn’t feel like spring in NYC, I can’t help but crave all things sweet and citrusy.

Citrus print isn’t anything new, but it’s back in full force this season.  I especially love the tangerine print blouse from J.Crew Factory and the lemon printed Keds for Kate Spade.  But if the quirky print (or an even quirkier straw clutch) isn’t you thing, you can still embrace one of my favorite spring trends with a punch of citrus color.
