We’re barely a few days into November, but I swear, holiday cheer is already in the air.  Never mind the fact that I literally witnessed someone putting up Christmas decorations the morning after Halloween.  It’s always on to the next, but it’s not like I can blame them.  There’s really no other season like the holiday season.

I also got jumpstart on the holidays at last week’s #CelebrateInStyle event, hosted at The Glass Houses in Chelsea. Thanks to the lovely teams at InStyle and Single Edition Media, I got to hang out with some of my favorite blogger loves, throw back a few glasses of pinot grigio by Flight Song and score a sneak peek into all things gorgeous and glittery for the season.  Not bad for a school night, am I right?

The highlight of the evening was of course was getting the inside scoop from a few of my favorite brands and learning about a few new ones.  We talked shoe trends with the head of marketing for DSW, makeup tips with a beauty editor from InStyle and accessories with the creative director of Bulova.  I mean, if this winter white clutch, this bright cherry red lipstick or this crystal-encrusted timepiece doesn’t bring joy to the world, I’m not sure what else will.  I also met the team from Tagspire, which is a new social network for sharing and discovering inspiration with others … but more on that in a post to come!

The icing on the cake?  Getting to take home a few goodies from new-to-me brands like Beautiful Textures, Balsam Hill, Alassis Candles and Rap Protein Gummies.

So I want to know: what are you most excited about for this holiday season?  Spending time with your family? Exchanging Secret Santa gifts with friends?  Indulging in a decadent meal or two?  Pre- and post-holiday gift shopping for loved ones (or more likely, for yourself)?  Try all of the above, my friend.  Here’s to an amazing season to come!
