T-Shirt & Jeans

There’s something that feels so right about a t-shirt and jeans. Some might call it basic, but I call it a solid wardrobe foundation. Just be sure to have a few tricks up your sleeve if you want to liven up your laid-back look.

For me, I added a pair of strappy pumps and my new favorite black satchel, which I picked up from Fossil while shopping on Fifth Avenue last weekend (they’re offering monogramming with your purchase at flagship stores and online!). Together, they instantly elevate the elevate and I’d say that’s anything but basic.

Fall in Line

It’s somehow Monday again and I need all of the coffee. This weekend went by much too quickly, what with the shorter days and now the pre-winter chill that has just officially rolled in. Up until yesterday, I could still get away wearing a simple cami or a short-sleeve tee outside but now sweater weather is here and I don’t think it’s leaving anytime soon.

So let’s have fun with it before we’re all condemned to bundle up in bulk. I love the idea of a light crewneck sweater over a floral pencil skirt. It’s cozy enough to survive a dip in degrees, but still refined enough for the office. An outfit that’s weather and work appropriate? Count me in.

T-Shirt & Midi Skirt

Some people love their t-shirt and jeans, but I’m more of a shirt and skirt kind of girl. Nothing brightens my day like an easy embroidered t-shirt, a full a-line midi skirt and a street corner sprinkled in confetti (coincidentally from another pair of bloggers who were shooting down the block). It’s the little things in life, right?
