Black & White & Brunch

And all of a sudden, it’s Monday again. I wish I could rewind to Saturday brunch with Courtney and Daisy. Getting together with other bloggers is one of my favorite things to do. Besides sharing a love for fashion, there’s a mutual understanding that no one touches their food until the perfect Instagram shot has been taken (an important principle that my fiancé has slowly come to embrace). For our afternoon outing to Foragers in Chelsea, I wore this black and white sweater and a pair of coated leggings. To The Max

Considering how much I’ve been loving a good maxi dress lately (see exhibit A and exhibit B), it was only a matter of time that it would translate over into skirt form. I snagged this burgundy maxi skirt (which you can score for an extra 50% off today only!) in petite so that the hem floats just around the ankles instead of dragging on the ground. I told you my hem lines were only going to get longer from here on out.

Red Hot

We might be into the first few days of fall, but today’s outfit is red hot. I don’t wear this color enough in my life, so when I sported this fun little frock a few weeks ago, it definitely turned some heads. Note to self: buy more red.
