I recently wore this cami and this midi skirt to work and while I could live in an easy outfit like this year-round, I think Mother Nature is starting to disagree. With much chillier temps around these parts, soft sweaters and chunky knits are calling my name … except I’m not ready to give into piling on the layers just yet. Until then, I’m taking the middle ground and balancing a lightness of my top with a little more coverage of a full midi skirt. That’s a compromise I can get behind.

Some people love their t-shirt and jeans, but I’m more of a shirt and skirt kind of girl. Nothing brightens my day like an easy embroidered t-shirt, a full a-line midi skirt and a street corner sprinkled in confetti (coincidentally from another pair of bloggers who were shooting down the block). It’s the little things in life, right?

Silky sweatshirt. I feel like it’s a bit of an oxymoron, but it was love at first sight with this top. Between the lightweight fabric to the texture-like print to the fact that it’s currently 50% off today only — It’s made for the fall days that start of chilly and warm up by the afternoon. And that my friends is something I’m not gonna argue about.
