I got this high-low dress a few months ago when it was way too cold to even been thinking about asymmetrical hemlines. It’s been collecting dust in my closet ever since, until I finally remembered to take it out for a spin. I’m so glad I did, because it turns out, it’s the perfect spring/summer dress and I received COMPLIMENTS GALORE on the wave it moves. These picture don’t do it justice. One guy called me the “Cape Crusader” as I biked to work and my co-workers put in a bulk order so they could each have one. If you want to be #twinning too, I won’t mind. It’s on sale, so get yourself one ASAP and I promise you won’t regret it!

When I first saw this floral midi, it was love at first sight. It basically felt like the epitome of spring in the form of a skirt. And even though NYC is still feeling abnormally cold for this time of the year, I feel like if I dress like it’s spring, the weather will follow suit. That’s how it works, right?

As much I love skirts (I do have a blog name to live up to, afterall), I just don’t wear enough of them during the winter because I hate hate hate tights. Hate. But I think we’ve finally hit a turning point — even though there’s still a little bit of snow on the ground, spring is in the air!
And so the bare legs are back in NYC! Obviously they need to catch a few more rays, but I couldn’t wait to take this striped midi skirt out on the town. I paired it over a floral dress from last summer and the mixed print combo immediately added an extra pep to my step. Sunnier days ahead, my friends!
