October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and there is so much to share, learn and give.  Even the Empire State Building is showing its support all pretty in pink, so why not join in on the movement?  There are incredible organizations out there doing what they can to raise awareness or find a cure … and not surprisingly, there’s a wonderful selection of products that actually give back to these programs when you buy them.  My personal favorite?  This statement necklace and this set of bangles to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.  I promise you … they’ll make a long-lasting impact on your wardrobe and the world.

In honor of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I’ve got more pink inspiration coming your way via some of my favorite personal style bloggers.  Pink has always been a go-to staple for a feminine vibe, but there are plenty of ways to transform the girly color into a look that’s unexpected, edgy, and modern.  Rule of thumb: the brighter and more shocking the pink, the better!

As promised, I’m wearing another pink number in honor of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  When I first thought about making this into a week-long project, I was worried that I didn’t have enough pink in my wardrobe to make a week’s supply of blog-worthy outfits.

Then I realized that there are plenty of ways to wear pink without looking like a bottle of Pepto Bismol.  By pairing a striped sweater with more earthy tones and leopard pumps, today’s outfit reflects the current change in the seasons and still gets the message across.
