It’s Memorial Day Weekend! It’s the start of summer and the beginning of many adventures to come. This weekend, the big brother and his wife are coming into town, so I’ll be playing hostess and tour guide and taking them to all of my favorite spots around the city. I usually like to plan an outfit around one piece — a statement necklace, a printed blouse or a pair of killer shoes — and build from there. Well today’s outfit was spontaneously jam-packed with a few of my favorite things: floral, lace and neon. There wasn’t really a starting point — just a bunch of fabulously bright and punchy pieces from my closet coming together to make one heck of a colorful spring outfit. Try it some time — you’ll never know what you’ll come up with!
