Monday again? This weekend went by all too quickly. I was feeling desperate to get out of NYC, so James and I took an overnight trip to Asbury Park — a little beach town in New Jersey, about 2.5 hours away by train. It was a quick escape, but just the beachy respite I’ve been craving. Lately, I’ve felt this strong desire to break out of my routine — to experience new scenes and try on new looks. This shirt dress (which is 50% off today only!) is definitely a deviation from the easy, swing dresses I’ve been wearing lately. It’s so different from my vibe as of late, but at the same time, so me. It also comes in pink and black or white eyelet and they’re all half off today only. Happy Friday! Even though I’ve been back from Arizona for almost two weeks now, I feel like this my first real weekend of summer. Last week was dedicated to unpacking, cleaning and napping, but now I’m back in full force. The weekend starts with my favorite off-the-shoulder top (comes in four different colors and worn in mint here!), a pair of destroyed denim shorts and a brunch date with a girlfriend that I haven’t seen in forever.
Also on the to-do list: a little summer outfit shopping. One of my favorite brands is offering 40% off your entire purchase this weekend, which includes this straw clutch, this striped maxi dress and this lace skirt. I’m also currently obsessed with this floral print, which I just got in a romper and a maxi dress. Summer weekends have never looked so good. TGIF loves!
