Say hello to my new favorite dress. I know I probably declare this all the time, but I can’t help it — I’m such a sucker for an easy dress in a pretty print. It was love at first sight when I tried it on (I’m wearing a Petite XS, FYI) and I knew I had to bring it home with me along with this top and this romper. Last week, I wore it to work and later on a date night with James. And I won’t be surprised if I keep wearing it well in to fall — this one is a keeper for sure.
I didn’t mean for this week to be all about rompers and jumpsuits, but that’s just how things played out (see exhibit A and exhibit B). Oh, and I just bought this one from Lou & Grey the other day. This may turn out to be a full blown addiction, but can you blame me? I just love a good one-piece outfit. I wore this bright, floral number on our visit to Asbury Park, NJ a few weekends ago (and yes, I also own this print in a maxi dress). More details on our trip down the Shore later, but for now, get yourself to LOFT, because they’re offering 50% off your entire purchase — including brand new arrivals — today only!
I’m coming at you with another Instagram outfit roundup today. I feel like so much has happened since the last update — I got married, summer kicked off and honeymoon planning is officially under way. I’ve been living in floral shorts lately (and these are 40% off!), but can you blame me? They’re so so comfy.
This striped linen dress from Lou & Grey has been another summer staple. From brunch dates to bike rides, this dress is so easy to wear. Just a warning: once you put it on, you probably won’t want to take it off.
I hope you like dresses, because I have a TON of them coming down the line. I don’t wear a lot of shirt dresses, but this printed piece was too good to pass up … did I mention it has pockets? I love it with a chunky heel and a statement necklace. It’s preppy perfection.
I actually didn’t end up buying this embroidered lace dress when I tried it on the other day, but I can’t stop thinking about it. The lace detail is beyond gorgeous and I love that it’s a bit of different vibe than I normally go for — a little bit of boho, a little bit refined. What do you think — should I go back and get it?
Finally, the pièce de résistance: this bright floral romper, because if there are two things that I love in life, it’s bright colors and pretty prints. I wore this to a quick trip down the Jersey Shore a few weekends ago. It makes me want to be by the beach all the time. Oh, and I may or may not own this print in the form of a maxi dress too. When you love what you love …
