Whenever I find myself looking for inspiration, I go on major Pinterest binges. Without even thinking about it, I realized that I’ve been pinning a lot of leather looks lately. I’m constantly inspired by magazines, lookbooks, and other style bloggers, so much so that I needed a way to organize my thoughts in a visually accessible way. Enter Pinterest, an online mood board that allows you to browse, organize, and share inspiring or amusing images found on the web. It also allows you to connect with your Facebook friends to see what visually inspires them. If you’re not already on it, definitely try it out!

My favorite part of the weekend is not having to dress by any standards — no office dress codes, no fussy hair, and barely any makeup (blush, bronzer, done). While I love to get creative and play dress up, come Friday, I generally fall into my routine outfit of t-shirt and cut-off jeans.
When I flipped through these pics that I took while visiting Madewell in Century City last month, I was instantly reminded that a weekend uniform can still look cool. Toss on a button-up in chambray blues, earthy greens and yellows, or casual plaids and you get a stylish look without the effort.
