Passion fruit tea from Starbucks.

I might be a little late to the Instagram scene, but now you can label me officially obsessed.  So I thought I’d share my past week with you through this medium, since everything looks better through a vintage-tinted lens shaped like a perfect square.

In the past week, I …

Tried breaking in a pair of new shoes (ouch)!

Watched UCLA get their asses handed to them by UA (sorry Brynn).

Became obsessed with tea from Teavana (more on that in the future).

Found comfort in a delicious bowl of Vietnamese soup (pho).

Gorged on baked pumpkin seeds for the first time ever (thanks Elle!).

And had playtime with my favorite little pup.

pumpkin hunting.

Although I didn’t have time to make it out to the pumpkin patch this year, I did find an alternative closer to home.  Surprisingly, Trader Joe’s had a decent selection of pumpkins and gourds galore.

The options ranged from miniature to fairytale shaped (think Cinderella’s carriage), to “ugly” (or should I say … unique?).

One of my personal faves were the pumpkin branches.  Festive, miniature and adorable.  What more could you ask for?

In the end, I scooped up a typical carving pumpkin for only $2.99 and a special treat to boot.  I’ll be attempting to carve the little guy tonight so stay tuned for the final result!
