We’re starting to design our nursery and here’s the vibe we’re going for!
Navy abstract wall art #1 and #2 / Babyletto Gelato convertible crib / Olive green dresser / Gray area rug / Sloth stuffed animal / Babyletto Kiwi cream glider and recliner / White pom pom straw storage baskets / Beige line wall decals
Our soon-to-be nursery is currently our office, and with flexible work-from-home plans still in effect for the foreseeable future, it will likely be a shared space for a while (at least until baby is old enough to start demanding some privacy – ha!). Our NYC apartment is light, bright and with modern coastal influence (think Serena & Lily vibes), and I want baby boy’s nursery to reflect that.
I want the space to be fun for him (love these wall decals and pom pom baskets to stash all of his toys), but I also don’t want the decor to be obnoxiously baby-ish – if you know what I mean! Most of the furniture will be neutral, but I’m thinking one or two pops of color like this navy crib or this olive green dresser/changing table – it’s such an unexpected color, but still feels timeless. The one thing we’ve purchased for him already? This super soft, adorable plush sloth, who we’ve already named Mo (short for Molasses, LOL!).
Navy crib / Animal musical mobile / Gray area rug / Faux rubber plant / Navy pom pom woven storage baskets / Cream glider with ottoman / Fox stuffed animal / United States map wall art / Natural wood changing table dresser
Natural wooden crib with trundle drawer / Light gray glider and recliner / Navy children’s bookshelves / Faux eucalyptus plant / White changing table dresser with leather handles / Be Brave print / Blue and gray abstract area rug / Giraffe stuffed animal / Black and white woven storage baskets
I love the green dresser, so pretty!!
