Probably not, but I’m not afraid to bring Upper East Vibes to the West Village. As my blog name implies, I have an affinity for skirts (and rule breaking) and this super affordable pleated option is no exception. But I definitely think it’s this pearl velvet headband that completes the Gossip Girl vibes – I’ve jumped on the headbandwagon (get it?) and I’m not mad about it!
Not gonna lie, I’ve been thinking of changing my style up a bit now that Gossip Girl is coming back and I kid you not, when I found out it was coming back, I was at work during my lunch break, I put my phone away, grabbed my bag and went to the shop in front of the place I work to look for headbands… That’s a gorgeous look, I love the headband obviously and the skirt looks so pretty, pleated skirts look so flattering.

So cute!!! Just wondering if you can wear a skirt like this with flats? I can’t wear heels any longer due to a foot injury but hate being left out in the fashion outfield.
100% yes! I think flats, booties – or dare I say even a pair of white sneakers – would go great with this skirt! It can easily be dressed up or down – no heels required!
