A Fun Twist on a Classic Jacket

Plus the comfiest maxi dress you’ll ever wear.

Blue & White Gingham “Jean Jacket” (c/o) / Navy Maxi Dress with Pockets (only $19 and comes in a bunch of colors!) / Leather Bag with Bamboo Handle / Ankle Strap Block Heel Sandals

These days, I live for cozy outfits and this knit maxi dress fits the bill. It’s a pretty simple dress that I would normally pass on, but the side slits and pockets pulled me in. The only downside it that it’s a bit on the long side – I’m 5’2″ and wearing 2″ heels here, and the dress just barely hits on the ground (might need to step it up to 3″ heels!). The knit fabric is so so soft though – I could live in it!

The only thing I’m loving is this gingham jacket, which is on sale right now! It’s marketed as a “jean jacket,” but I’m pretty sure there’s nothing denim about it. It is, however, designed to look like a jean jacket – just look at those button front pockets! So cute and it also comes in a black and white gingham!

That’s a gorgeous jacket, it looks so different and original with the gingham pattern. And the dress looks super comfy, although it does seem long but at least it has pockets! You win some, you lose some.
