It took me about 28 years to get onboard with the turtleneck, but I think I found a new one true love – the mock neck.
Buffalo Check Mock Neck Top (print also comes in a skirt) / High Waisted Dark Wash Jeans / Fendi 2Jours Bag / Leopard Pumps
I think there comes a point during winter (read: NOW) that I just get tired of the bulkiness. Sure, it was a real feel of -13°F in NYC earlier this week, but I’m so over wearing all the layers!! I recently picked up this buffalo check top a few weeks ago and I’ve been wearing it work once a week ever since.
I’m thinking I might need to get it in the navy/white combo for good measure! I love the color and print, but what really sold me was that modern neckline. A mock neck gives just a smidge bit more coverage than a crew neck, but without the bulk of a turtleneck. So far I’ve worn it with high waisted jeans and a navy flare skirt, but I’m thinking I might need to get the matching skirt for a full-on coordinated set!
Jen, I am OBSESSED with this outfit! I totally pinned it! No joke, I’m going to copy this look. If I end up sharing it, for sure I will be giving you the credit! So so cute!
