Christmas Gift Ideas from Amazon

Portable Clothing Steamer (only $31!) / Nespresso Espresso Machine ($99 – also comes in silver) / Milk Frother (only $9!) / Soda Stream Sparkling Water Maker / Dyson Bladeless Fan / Essential Oil Diffuser (only $30!) / Echo Dot with Alexa ($49 – also comes in black or gray) / Wireless Smart Lighting Starter Kit / Ionic Face Steamer (only $37!) / Copper Pineapple Cup (only $31!) / Breville Compact Juicer

You know what’s better than a cute gift? A gift that’s actually functional! Today, I’m rounding up my favorite gadgets from Amazon (most of which I already own). They’re not the “cutest” gifts, but they are gifts that will keep on giving long after the holidays are over. Let’s do this!

Portable Clothing Steamer: I bought this steamer three years ago (for only $31 no less!) and I’ve never used an iron since. It also comes with me on all of my travels, because nothing is more annoying than a crease in your clothes!

Nespresso Espresso Machine: I’m not sure what I’d do without my Nespresso machine. We upgraded from Keurig to Nespresso years ago and it genuinely makes me look forward to waking up in the morning. We’ve had this $99 version for over three years and it was one of the best investments we ever made. Two lattes coming on up!

Milk Frother: But seriously – mama needs her latte. It took us a while to figure out the right tools for froth our milk, but we found this handheld frother for only $9 and it does the trick.

Soda Stream Sparkling Water Maker: Hands down the best gift ever given to me by my brother was a Soda Stream. Before that, we were buying sparkling water by the bottle, but now we can sparkle it whenever we want at home (which is to say – A LOT).

Dyson Bladeless Tower Fan: This one’s a bit on the pricier side, but when we moved into our new apartment, we knew we wanted to step up our fan game. It’s pretty powerful and the sleek design means it’s not a total eyesore when it’s not in use.

Essential Oil Diffuser: It’s funny how a small $30 diffuser can change the entire ambiance of the room. We loved this essential oil diffuser so much that we bought two of them! Just pick up a set of essential oils (I like this one that has different focuses like ‘good night sleep’ and ‘breathe ease’), add water and relax. I mean, 4.5 stars from 4,000+ reviews – do I need to say more?

Echo Dot with Alexa: This is scary to say, but it’s hard to remember what life was like without Alexa. Sure, she might be listening to everything we say, but I’ll trade my expectation of privacy for the convenience of her giving me a news brief every morning, telling me what the weather is outside and playing music at my beck and call. I would keep an eye out for a major Black Friday sale – that’s when we got ours a few years ago.

Wireless Smart Lighting Starter Kit: This is for my tech savvy friends – it’s the modern day clapper light. Seriously though, James set this up in our living room, our entry way and our bedroom and now we can tell Alexa to turn the lights on and off and dim to whatever level we’d like (I just asked to dim the lights to 18% and it worked!).

Ionic Face Steamer: This is the one thing that on the list that I haven’t tried, but it’s in our shopping cart and I can’t wait for it to arrive. Skincare has been high on my priority list, especially as I start to get older. The face steamer is supposed to help open your pores and let serums penetrate even more effectively into your skin. Excited to try and report back!

Copper Pineapple Cup: Okay, the only thing that’s not really a gadget on this list, but these copper pineapple cups are just too cute! They’re the perfect gift for a hostess or someone who just loves a good bevvy (that’s me!).

Breville Compact Juicer: Last but not least – a gift that’s good for the mind and body. James and I go through periodic juicing phases, but we’ve had this juicer all the back from our Arizona days (that’s 6+ years ago). It’s a good starting point for anyone who wants to up their fruit and veggies intake, but I would love to one day upgrade to a cold-press juicer (aka a slow masticating juicer).

Happy shopping!
