I just got my first pair of sock booties a few weeks ago and I’m obsessed.
Am I a little late to this trend? Either way, I’m 100% on board with this new-to-me type of bootie. For those of you who are unfamiliar, sock booties are exactly like it sounds – it’s a hybrid of socks and booties, but much cooler than the name leads on. For the most part, this pair (which also comes in gray) looks like a very classic pair of booties, but the fabric around the ankle is super flexible. In some cases (like this pair), the fabric closely wraps around your ankles and really resembles as sock. Because of their flexibility, they’re very comfortable and super easy to walk in. I love them paired with a chic shift dress, but when the weather cools down, I plan on wearing them with leggings or skinny jeans.

I love the concept, because the rubbing of ankle boots at the top usually bothers me. I just haven’t found the right pair for me yet!
