Why I’m a Minimalist When it Comes to Jewelry

How to Wear Delicate Jewelry

Charles & Colvard Stackable Rings 1, 2 and 3 (c/o)

Who remembers the days of statement jewelry? I’m talking bubble necklaces, arm parties and cocktail rings – you name it, I wore it (and probably all at once). Not too long ago, I believed that more is more, but lately, I’ve scaled way back and prefer to keep my jewelry simple. So when Charles & Colvard offered to gift me some of their beautiful, delicate jewelry, I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity!

The brand sent me over three beautiful stacking rings (here, here and here) being sold via Iconery. They each feature the prettiest little gems, that look like diamonds, but are actually a brilliant white gemstone called moissanite. Bet you couldn’t even tell the difference! Turns out moissanite is a great diamond alternative since it’s more affordable, conflict-free and eco-friendly! Plus, did I mention how much it sparkles in the light?

These days, my style mantra is less is more, but don’t be mistaken – minimalistic doesn’t mean boring. When you simplify things like your clothes or your jewelry, the smallest details become extra special and things like shape, color and brilliance stand out even more. Instead of a statement, it’s more like a whisper and a wink. A little goes a long way!
