It’s Finally Leather Jacket Season!

How to Wear a Motorcycle Jacket

I was in denial that fall was coming for the entire month of September and then just like that October hits and I’m suddenly excited to layer up. Maybe it’s because the weather is finally starting to cool down and I finally get to break out this leather motorcycle jacket.

Fall Outfit Inspiration: Faux Leather Moto Jacket

I bought this jacket back in July during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and have been patiently waiting for the temps to drop, because I’m just not the kind of blogger that starts wearing fall clothes before it’s actually fall. But now that it’s here (and I’ve come to terms with it), you can expect this to jacket to make regular appearances on the blog. It just makes every outfit look instantly cool (even if I may not be). My favorite part? Gold hardware, which is kind of a rare find when it comes to motorcycle jackets!

Another new addition: my leather slides. This pair from Madewell is already sold out, but there’s a very similar version here. There’s something so effortlessly cool about mules. Granted, I wouldn’t recommend trying to wear them all day if you’re planning to do a ton of walking (like up and down New York City), but I’ve worn them to work and over the weekend and just can’t get enough.
