I don’t have many high-end designer handbags – just the Fendi 2Jour, the Chloe Marcie and now the Chloe Drew. I’ve actually been eyeing this one for well over a year now and snagged it on sale, which is incredibly rare in the world of designer brands. I’m not the kind of person to buy designer handbags on a whim and there are a lot of factors I consider like … How often will I wear it? Will it go with most of the thing in my closet? Can I afford it? Is this an “it” bag or will it be a timeless piece? Does James approve? Yes, I consult the husband – not for permission, but just as a second opinion to make sure I’m not jumping the gun. So when all signs pointed to yes (including James!) and I knew it was meant to be..

I love me a good crossbody bag, especially as a city girl – I need my hands freed up as much as possible. I especially love the Chloe Drew because it adds a bit of sophistication to whatever else I’m wearing. From the shade of light beige (the color is called biscotti, but I think blush is a close second), to the intricate gold hardware, it definitely elevates every outfit. I’m wearing the mini size, which is still large enough to fit my iPhone 7 Plus, along with lipstick, credit cards and other knick knacks. Totally worth the investment to me!
