To be honest, gambling stresses me THE EFF out. I’ve had my fair share of Vegas when I was younger, but even then I would hunker down at the penny slots as long the free drinks flowed. We wandered into the Casino Café de Paris and decided in advance that we would only spend 60€ before walking away. We sat down at a Game of Thrones themed slot machine and blew through 20€ in three spins. I was pretty much ready to peace out there, but James ushered us over to a more discreet looking slot machine (it was mermaid themed) and began what would soon be a rollercoaster of emotions for me.
In a span of an hour, we doubled our money, lost it all, added more than we agreed upon, doubled it again, almost lost it all, then finally doubled it again. At that point, we had put in 80€ and were at about 160€. That was enough to cover our train tickets to Monaco, our lunch and the three glasses of rose I needed to take the nerve off gambling (and thensome). Clearly, gambling is not my forte, but getting dressed for it definitely is!
