That’s what happens when you snatch up cheaply made leggings thinking it’s a good deal (I’m looking at you, Forever 21!). Since experiencing that fitness faux paux, I’ve said goodbye to semi-transparent spandex and opted for higher quality workout gear.
There’s just something about brand new workout gear that just makes sprint a little faster and hustle a little harder. It makes me feel a little more confident and a whole lot stronger. Anyone else get that feeling?

I great workout outfit can really make a difference. I love working out so I need good quality pieces that will last. I’ve never heard of this brand before, but I love their designs. Thanks for sharing 🙂

I totally hear you! I’ve had the same issue with cheap workout clothes…definitely a big believer now in spending more $$$…it’s totally worth it! Thanks for suggesting Lou & Grey…I’m definitely going to check out their workout gear.

About the see through leggings, I had that and it is so not pleasant. Spent the rest of the day trying to recollect all I had done when i was wearing the legging to evaluate the level of embarrassment lol.. not funny lol. i definitely invest in my gym gear now, so worth it.

I had no idea that Lou and Grey made activewear! Obsessed. My first stop is usually Lulu, but it’s pricey and I totally know what you mean about cheap activewear- I once had this nightmarish pair of Target yoga pants that tore at just the wrong time. Always better to be safe with great quality than sorry!
