Another heat wave rolled through NYC during New York Fashion Weekend this weekend. All the more reason to laugh at/be concerned for the well-being of the girls who insist on wearing sweaters, leather and anything with a long-sleeve right now. There’s a better way, sweat-free way to transition into fall!
The easiest way to transition in between seasons is to wear summer clothes in fall colors. It’s as easy as pairing a burgundy cami with a navy lace skirt and a leopard clutch – maybe throw on a printed silk scarf if you’re into the trend (it’s growing on me!). All of the textures, patterns and colors give the appearance of fall with the ease of summer. Did I just blow your mind? Probably not, but I’ll stand by my approach for as long as it’s 90°F in September!
