There are few things that every woman needs in her wardrobe: a little black dress, a pair of leopard heels and some eco-friendly diamonds around her neck.
I was recently invited to get to know the Diamond Foundry, a California-based jewelry company that creates real jewelry-quality diamonds in small, unique batches. I didn’t even know that was possible until now. The process is pretty over my head, but here’s the gist: they start with a thin slice of earth-mined diamonds and grow theirs atom by atom. That’s as science-y as I get, but it basically means their hot-forged diamonds are environmentally responsible, ethically pure and just as stunning. It’s like a modern twist on an old classic and that’s something I can get behind.
When I read more about Diamond Foundry’s story, my mind was definitely blown, especially since I didn’t know much about diamonds until we got engaged. James knows way more about the selection process than I do (he did have to do his research after all) and I think he’d agree that the quality is unparalleled.
If you’re about to lock it down, you should check out their selection of engagement rings – they are simply gorgeous! They also have a designer market for splurge-worthy jewelry like earrings, necklaces and non-engagement rings because everyone deserves a sparkly little treat, whether it’s for your one-year anniversary (wink wink) or just because (nudge nudge).

Oh that delicate necklace is so pretty against the black dress! What a dainty, elegant piece.
