After a few days of subzero windchill, it only seemed appropriate to wrap up the three-day weekend with a little bit of snow. Icing on the cake, right?

Skirt The Rules / Grey Pom Pom Beanie

By Monday, I felt like I could parade around the city in a tank top on shorts just because it was 30 degrees warmer than the day before – even with the snow.  I opted for a tunic sweater, cozy leggings and my favorite woven scarf instead since I haven’t lost my mind quite yet. But then on Tuesday – I kid you not – it was another 30 degrees warmer than that and I ended up wearing a little mini skirt and rain boots. It’s been a rollercoaster of a winter here in New York and I’m already counting down the days until spring (or at least the until I fly back to San Diego and Phoenix in a few weeks!).

Hahaha I feel the same way after a cold snap–even if the next day is still pretty cold, I still feel like I can waltz around in a tee shirt! Your hat is too cute. Love the pom pom

I know this is quite an old post, but where did you get those glasses? I’ve been trying to find something similar, and came across your picture when on my search.

Hi Jennifer! They’re from Warby Parker – the exact style is called the Nash, but it looks like they don’t have them on their site anymore (I got them back in 2015). WP has lots of great options though!
