Outfit: Leith dolman sleeves sweater (on sale for $35!) / Capelli of New York small plaid square scarf (on sale for $13!) / Painted Threads pleated a-line skirt (on sale for $20!) / Fendi ‘2Jours Elite’ leather tote /  JustFab ‘Carley’ lace up flat (c/o) / Makeup: Too Faced Born this Way foundation in ‘Ivory’/ Too Faced Endless Summer bronzer / Anastasia ‘Brow Wiz’ eyebrow pencil in ‘Dark Brown’ / Make Up For Ever mascara/ NARS blush in ‘Dolce Vita’ / NARS velvet matte lip pencil in ‘Mysterious Red’

There are only two things that could possibly make this Monday a little brighter.

Mixed prints and major markdowns … and today’s outfit involves both! I wore this look while exploring a cute neighborhood in San Diego a few weeks ago. Now, my red and plaid scarf  is 50% off – I keep seeing it going out of stock and then re-appearing online, but I imagine it won’t be around much longer at $13. My black sweater, which has super cozy dolman sleeves, is only $35 and my striped mini-skirt is only $20. I’m basically a walking sale section today and I’m not mad about it. Because nothing says “I survived another Monday” like a little retail therapy.
