After spending the past week and a half in Phoenix, Tucson and Austin, it was a tough sell trying to get me on the airplane back to NYC. For starters, the weather was gorgeous enough to break out my new colorblock dress and strappy heels. And then we got to partake in all of the fun parts of wedding planning, like menu tasting and cake tasting — sooo many cakes. Not a bad way to escape the subzero windchill, am I right? I’m already planning my next trip back for a bridal shower in March, but until then … I’ll have to live vicariously through these warm weather photos.

If I told you how many times I wore leggings for pants in the past month, you probably wouldn’t want to be my friend anymore. I mean, I love a good sweater/legging action in the winter — as long you cover your tush. But lately, I’ve been feeling the need to spice it up. The remedy? A little print on print action. I recently bought this printed skirt and paired it with my favorite leopard clutch, for a fun and unexpected combo. Now I’m just counting down the days that I can wear the flared midi sans tights!

I was thinking about getting all dolled up for a Valentine’s Day outfit, but let’s be real: it’s been way too cold for that. Instead, I’m breaking out my new pale pink coat and keeping things casual with a pair of relaxed jeans and a comfy cream sweater. I love celebrating a good holiday, but I try not to take this one too seriously.
