The days of no white after Labor Day are long gone. To me, all-white-everything is a year-round look and I think the little white dress is a breath of fresh air considering all the plaid, leather and dark colors that have been taking over our wardrobes lately. I paired my LWD (on major sale!) with season-appropriate accessories like a pair of leopard heels and a simple black clutch. But my favorite detail has to be this cute little beetle necklace … because when else could I ever use the words “cute” and “beetle” in the same sentence?

Can you believe it’s October already? The weather is getting cooler, the days are getting shorter and summer feels like a distant memory. I’m not too thrilled about that but going into my third fall in NYC, I have to admit that seeing fall foliage still stops me in my tracks and that’s something I can’t complain about! Here’s what I’m loving this week:

One of my favorite dresses is back for fall. I originally fell in love with this teal maxi dress from LOFT earlier this summer and I plan on wearing it until it’s too cold to be rockin’ the side slit. The best part is that transitioning a maxi from summer to fall doesn’t require that much effort. All you need is a denim jacket and a leopard clutch and you’ll have that dress doing double duty in no time.
