Fresh off my tropical getaway to St. Martin, I couldn’t wait to share with you my vacay outfits (you can see a few sneak peeks on my Instagram!).
Minimal effort was the name of the game. When you’re waking up to palm trees and sunshine as your morning view, the last thing you want to do is fuss away at your outfit. So my go to? A fresh mint ruffle dress, a delicate necklace, a couple of bangles and apparently a dash of humidity in my hair (excuse the frizz!).

I might’ve been all about spring layers last week, but this summer, I’m looking for a one-stop-shop kind of outfit. I’m talking maxi dresses, rompers, and as of late: jumpsuits. Whether you go with a printed, blush or bold little number, they’re both the foundation and the finishing touch of your ensemble. You know what’s worse than a Monday? Coming back from a tropical vacation on a Tuesday. Rough, my friends, would be an understatement.
I wore this little outfit to work a few weeks ago, so let’s be real … I’m probably not looking this put together today. But a striped jacket and a brightly colored dress makes for one of my favorite work ensembles. Paired with my favorite ankle-strap heels, it’s a chic standby for when you’re having a major case of the Mondays … or Tuesdays … or any other weekday for that matter.
