Get the puffer coat. Maybe it’s different in NYC, but in Chicago there’s no shame in looking like the Michelin man. Add some cute accessories and just own the look! I think puffer coats are way more durable than wool coats in climates with snow or freezing rain, and they also don’t retain smells like wool coats do.
