This past weekend, I participated in Santacon, a bar crawl where what seems like all of NYC dresses up as Santa for a day of debauchery and shenanigans in the snow. So glad I got to check that off my bucket list, but after an entire day of red, green and tons of bubbly I was ready to don more subdued shades (and oversized sunnies).
I know, black and brown isn’t a color scheme that I usually gravitate to, but I do dabble in neutral looks from time to time. It’s really hard to go wrong with a classic combo, but it’s even better when elevated by the playful pairing of stripes, leopard and a bold red lip.

I tend to go for neutrals in the winter, but mixing prints and adding fur makes for a stunning combo!
You look so NY-chic! Oh, and I like how you credited James at the very end. Haha.
Haha you can get your own shout out if you snap a few photos for me next week. 😉
Those shades look so great with your face shape! Where are they from?

Thanks Sarah! They’re Karen Walker Super Dupers — just picked them up last week and I’m in love! Totally worth the splurge!
I love this black and brown combo!
