As an Arizona girl born and raised, hot summer weather never used to phase me. But as a recent New York transplant: I. Am. Dying. I’m such a light weight when it comes to humidity, so my solution for the past few days has been to throw on the most breathable layers possible — oh and yes, chop off my hair. So maybe one strategy is a little more extreme than the other, but at this point, I’ll do anything short of moving to Antarctica to stay cool.

I love the mint skirt and fun floral top. It definitely looks like you’re beating the heat in NY!

What a cute mint skirt and I love how you paired it with a floral top. So summer chic!

Jen, your hair looks so cute! I think by next summer you’ll get used to it. Growing up in the northeast I never thought the humidity was that bad, besides what it did to my hair. 😉 Oh, and I am not including heat waves! The first time I went to Arizona I almost passed out after running out of drinking water at the pool. I am talking about legit blacking out here and there. haha I couldn’t handle it… by the next summer I didn’t think it was nearly that bad. I think you’ll get a little more used to it as time goes on (I hope).
love this haircut on you! way to go beating the heat and still looking fantastic 🙂
