Three day weekends are the best … until they’re over. The downside: Major case of the Mondays. The upside: It’s actually Tuesday! And as always, I try and start the week off with a chic little number that works at the office or at a much needed happy hour.

I’ve never invested much in home decor — I have tons of Pinterest boards dedicated to the subject, but have never committed to a certain look or direction. I have a few objects that I keep gravitating to (like this guy!), but the decor is far from complete. So after living in my NYC apartment for over seven months now, the pad is still pretty barebones. My new goal for the next few months: focus on collecting pieces that make my home feel more like home. Inspiration/suggestions are always welcomed!

It’s Memorial Day Weekend! It’s the start of summer and the beginning of many adventures to come. This weekend, the big brother and his wife are coming into town, so I’ll be playing hostess and tour guide and taking them to all of my favorite spots around the city.
