apartment sweet apartment.

The boyfriend and I have our first NYC apartment!  I’ve been subletting since I moved here and even though it was nice place to set up base for a few months, it definitely lacked a personal touch.  So when it came to finding an apartment of our own, we wanted to make sure that it was a place we could call home for the next year or two.

Well I scoured the city, trolled Craigslist, and scoped out a dozen apartments during my search.  And just when I started to lose hope, I found this gem: a fourth floor walk-up in Gramercy with new renovations, great living space, and two amazing closets (well … for NYC).  From the search, to the application, to the fees and deposits — it’s been an exhausting process.  But now that’s behind us, we get to focus on making this apartment and this city our home!

    • Hi Bee! I started by browsing Craiglist, which led me to a broker. That’s the expensive route, but I’m in love with my apartment! Feel free to email me if you have more questions. Good luck with your hunt! x
