runway inspired.

While I’m so excited to be experiencing my first fall in NYC, a few runway shows from NYFW have me already counting down the months until spring!  Bloglovin‘ is challenging bloggers to create a runway inspired post from Rebecca Minkoff’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection and I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to take elements from her spring collection and integrate them into my fall wardrobe.

My favorite elements from RM’s show were the graphic lines and baroque-style prints — a balanced contrast between traditional patterns and modern details.  So when I found this baroque graphic print dress from Topshop, I knew it would pair perfectly with a peplum top for a look that’s both edgy and sophisticated.

Top: Topshop
Dress: Topshop (worn as a skirt)
Necklace: H&M (similar)
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff
Shoes: Pour la Victoire

PS: Bloglovin’ and Rebecca Minkoff are also holding a contest for readers and it ends today!  Check out the details for your chance to win a $500 shopping spree!

Love, love, love the paisley print skirt (wait dress!) and I can’t get enough of peplum. The look that the cinched waist and flared bottom creates is my absolute favorite look.
